WELCOME TO OUR CLUB'S WEBSITE!!
In 1927 seventeen women met in the upstairs room of a civic building located on the northeast corner of Main Street to form the Gillett Woman’s Club. Their mission was to start a public library and clean up Zippel Park, which at that time was not a pretty sight--it had been used to store old machinery and unused culverts. Nine decades later, our members are still showing love and dedication to its community by accomplishing tasks like donating to the library, beautifying the town's main street, and giving our scholarships to area college students.
While the Gillett Woman's Club has a decades long history in the area, not many women know about the club or its purpose. Hopefully touring this site will answer any questions you may have and give you an idea of the good works you could be a part of if you decide to join!!
Thank you for visiting our site, and may God bless your day!
